Home Again

Through my photography I seek to reckon the sense of belonging that I lost before realizing what it ever was. For reasons I may never know, stories of my roots were misplaced before my parents were capable of carrying them. Over time, a void grew between myself and the world around me. I never wanted this; and further, I never wanted others to experience the same separation that I did. Now, I travel to find that missing piece in me. These photographs are the bread crumbs I leave behind for those who feel similarly distant from themselves and the world. If you follow the trail long enough, I believe we can walk each other home again.
